Trisha McAuley OBE is a respected leader in consumer policy and regulated markets, with significant experience across the energy, transport, and water sectors. She was formerly the Director for Scotland at Consumer Futures, where she championed consumer rights and influenced national policy. Since 2014, she has built a successful portfolio career as a Non-Executive Director and Independent Chair, holding senior roles with organisations such as Energy Action Scotland, Transport Focus, and the Scottish Government’s Energy Networks Strategic Leadership Group. Her work has consistently focused on ensuring that consumer interests are embedded in decision-making across complex and technical sectors.

Trisha currently holds a number of roles, including serving as Independent Chair of the electricity CUSC and Grid Code Panels, and the Strategic Panel for the water industry. She was appointed to the Civil Aviation Authority Board in 2025, where she also sits on the Audit Committee. Her OBE, awarded for services to consumer affairs, reflects her long-standing commitment to transparency, fairness, and public accountability.
